The programme is designed for children of different age groups, with the storytelling and workshops adapted to the children’s age and abilities.

 

The programme includes a one-hour guided presentation by a guide dressed in traditional folk costume, introducing the history of Latgalian craftsmanship, the Latgalian way of life, values, traditional skills, and cultural heritage. It also includes demonstrations of ancient crafts and hands-on workshops with active student participation.

 

Participants usually create a small item from clay, yarn, wood, or fabric that they can take home as a souvenir. The programme content is adapted to different age groups and school classes.
