Workshops
We offer hands-on workshops where visitors can learn traditional skills including weaving, embroidery, belt weaving, rope twisting, flax processing, weaving peternes (traditional linen rope footwear), spinning, knitting, single-needle techniques, traditional shirt making, clay art, natural material design, and the creation of festive decorations such as puzuri, as well as many other traditional crafts.
Workshop format, timing, preferences, and pricing are arranged individually in advance.
Master craftsmen’s works can be purchased in the centre’s showroom or custom-made upon request. We offer archaeological and ethnographic folk costumes and costume parts, linen and wool products, textiles, handmade crafts, flags, souvenirs, and many other traditional items.

Master Craftsmen and Their Work
Crafts created by master artisans are available in the centre’s showroom or can be individually commissioned. We offer archaeological and ethnographic folk costumes and costume parts, linen and wool products, textiles, handmade crafts, jewellery, ceramics, blacksmith works, woven goods, leather and wooden products, flags, souvenirs, and many other traditional items.
Woodworking and Restoration Workshop
This project was implemented in cooperation with the support of sub-measure 19.2. "Implementation of activities in accordance with the community-led local development strategy" of the Latvian Rural Development Programme for 2014-2020, Pr.nr. 16-01-AL34-A019.2101-000006.
